The new model of 908RC.the ultimate by Peugeot is one of the best sell car now which are having comfortable driving. This Peugeot 908 RC is one of the model of Peugeot which are using drop link, double wishbone type suspension for front and rear suspension .The suspension was derived by the double wishbone from Peugeot 407.

This video show the double wishbone suspension which are from the Peugeot 407 which had derived and using to this 908RC Peugeot model.

The design of the 908 RC creates a particularly low-lying exterior body with a stylish tapered design at the front of the vehicle. Its proportions create an elegant and dynamic statement. Sitting on large diameter 20 spoke alloy wheels the overall effect is that of a big cat, from the nose at the front, to the tip of the rear light.
In the great tradition of Peugeot concept cars, the 908 RC is a unique model conceived in the inner sanctum of the Peugeot Design Centre. The vehicle is built around a pre-impregnated carbon composite and vacuum-polymerised aluminium honeycomb structure. The rear section is a self-supporting shell incorporating a sub-frame consisting of a tubular structure on which the engine and suspension are assembled.

PEUGEOT 508

In this segment in particular, Peugeot has always set the standard in terms of road holding and, as a direct consequence, driving pleasure. With the Peugeot 508, the Marque has taken great strides in accommodating these characteristics in a range able to accept two types of suspension.
An all-new McPherson type front axle has been developed on platform 3 for use on the majority of the Peugeot 508 range. Here the 508 offers a new, high-level synthesis of road holding and ride comfort. In terms of comfort, the level of expectations of customers in the "M2" segment has risen considerably in recent years. This engineering choice is another example of the upward spiral set in motion by efforts to reduce weight: the new front axle allows a weight saving of 12 kg compared to the 407.
The Peugeot 508 "GT" for its part features a drop link dual wishbone front axle. The dual wishbone and decoupling of bounce and steering functions allow for a very high level of body rigidity and driving accuracy.
This choice is consistent with the potential performance of the new 2.2 litre HDi FAP 150 kW (204 bhp) engine, and with the expectations of customers who are particularly demanding with regard to the dynamic capabilities of their car.
At the rear, the entire range is equipped with a multi-arm rear suspension. This is designed to ensure excellent efficiency and maximum accuracy and vibration damping by decoupling longitudinal and transverse forces.

PEUGEOT 3008 HYbrid4

A new hybrid car is born, and this time it comes from Peugeot. Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 is the world’s first diesel hybrid crossover. As you have probably guessed this new hybrid is based on the Peugeot’s 3008 crossover. Does this mean that the car has all wheel drive? Yes it does. Further more, the Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 has a 2 litre HDi FAP engine with a maximum output of 163 HP and an electric motor which develops a maximum of 37 HP which means that the combined power of the two power units reaches 200 HP. Not bad at all. This hybrid from Peugeot promises a fuel consumption reduction of 35 percent reaching just 3.8 litres for 100 km and reduced CO2 emissions of just 99 grams/km. Sales for this model will start in Europe in the first quarter of 2011 and the car will be made in France.
Special attention has been paid to the rear suspension of the car. The technology used for the rear suspension of the Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 can also be found on the Peugeot 407. This says a lot about the road characteristics of the car. The design of the suspension at the back is a multi-arm rear suspension type module which also accommodates the electric motor and the corresponding reduction gearbox. This choice should be a guarantee about the road behavior, offering both comfort and stability. To add even more to the car’s road stability the Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 is also fitted with an ESP system. This includes the ASR, a traction control system that should solve any possible problems on less grip friendly surfaces. If you plan to drive this car on reduced adherence surfaces, like a country road for example, the car can be equipped optionally with 16” “Mud & Snow” tires.
